Consistency over weeks
The difference a routine makes.
Visible results from at-home beauty technology are real. They are also gradual. This page exists to set honest expectations — because we would rather you trust us for three months than be disappointed after three sessions.
The honest timeline
Results vary based on device used, skin type, baseline condition and consistency of use. The following reflects typical user experience across the Skinovia catalogue:
- Week 1 — Primarily sensory. You will notice the ritual itself — the warmth of LED, the tingle of microcurrent, the cold of cryo. Skin may feel slightly different after sessions. This is normal at this stage.
- Weeks 2–4 — First visible changes typically emerge. For LED users, skin may look more even-toned and feel smoother. Microcurrent users often notice a subtly more lifted look in the jaw and cheek area. Cryo users see de-puffing results from day one; the cumulative effect becomes more consistent over weeks.
- Weeks 4–8 — The compounding effect. Regular users report that their skin consistently looks better than before they started — not dramatically transformed, but visibly improved in the ways that matter. This is the stage where the ritual becomes a genuine habit.
- Week 8+ — Maintaining results requires maintaining the routine. Beauty technology works like exercise — the results come from consistency, and they fade without it.
Our approach to results
Skinovia does not use fabricated before/after images. We do not pay for reviews, source testimonials from non-customers, or use stock photography to imply results. When we show before/after imagery, it will be from real Skinovia customers, with their explicit consent, unretouched, and with clear disclosure of the protocol used.
Until we have that — we would rather show you an empty gallery than a misleading one.
What affects your results
- Consistency — three to five sessions per week produces better results than sporadic use.
- Pairing with skincare — devices extend a basic routine; they do not replace it. LED on clean skin works. Microcurrent with the right gel works.
- Realistic expectations — at-home devices are not clinical-strength treatments. The results are real and meaningful; they are not the same as a clinic procedure.
- Gulf-specific factors — AC-dry skin, sun exposure and hard water all affect how skin responds. Use SPF during the day. Hydrate well. Cryo is especially useful for the de-puffing effects of climate-related inflammation.
